At the heart of Roussillon, Domaine Amistat embodies the spirit of natural wine: sincere, artisanal, respectful of life. Founded in 2011, the estate cultivates its vines in the Aspres, on sun-drenched hills at the foot of Canigou, but it’s in its Claira cellar that the work truly comes to life… and can be tasted.

The emblematic grape varieties of the south – Grenache, Macabeu, Carignan centenarian – grow on living soils of brown schist, clay, and quartz. No chemical inputs, no tractor use: here, the vines are tended by hand, with natural ground cover and plant-based care.

The estate’s natural wines are not told in numbers, but in sensations. In Claira, in the cellar where they come to life, you can discover and taste them. Winemaking follows the same principles as cultivation: indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentations, no filtration, greatly reduced sulfites, often below detectable levels. Each cuvée reflects the personality of the vintage, the grape variety, and the terroir.
