At the foot of the majestic Força Réal massif, just 20 km west of Perpignan, the Domaine de la Beille invites you to discover an exceptional organic vineyard. Established in 2005, this family-owned estate spans a remarkable terroir, composed of schist and rolled pebbles, swept by the Tramontane wind.
Committed to organic farming since 2010, the estate emphasizes manual labor and 100% hand-harvesting. This rigorous approach ensures high-quality grapes, essential for crafting authentic and environmentally respectful wines.
The visit begins in the winery, where both dry wines and natural sweet wines are produced. You’ll discover the winemaking process and the estate’s artisanal methods. The tasting continues in the cellar, in a warm setting perfect for exchanging knowledge and exploring Mediterranean grape varieties: Grenache, Muscat, Macabeu, Carignan, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. Some come from old vines aged over 70 years.
Domaine de la Beille is more than a production site: it’s an immersive oenotourism experience at the heart of a Força Réal organic vineyard. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply curious about local heritage, you’ll enjoy a unique moment surrounded by nature, passion, and terroir.
The experience includes a guided tour of the winery where you will discover the winemaking process and the estate's artisanal methods. This is followed by a commented tasting of 6 to 7 of the estate's wines, featuring both dry and natural sweet wines, with a direct exchange with the winemaker.
The cellar tour and tasting lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The activity can accommodate groups of up to 15 people, making it an ideal experience for small groups or individual visitors.
