In the heart of Roussillon, Domaine Amistat embodies the spirit of natural wine: sincere, artisanal, and respectful of living things. Founded in 2011, the estate cultivates its vines in the Aspres, on sunny hillsides at the foot of Mount Canigou, but it is in its Claira cellar where the work takes on its full meaning… and is tasted.

The emblematic grape varieties of the south – Grenache, Macabeu, and century-old Carignan – grow on living soils of brown schist, clay, and quartz. No chemical inputs, no tractor use: here, the vines are tended by hand, with natural plant cover and plant-based treatments.

The natural wines of the estate are not told in numbers, but in sensations. In Claira, in the cellar where they come to life, you can discover and taste them. The winemaking follows the same principles as the cultivation: indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentations, no filtration, and very low sulfites, often below the detection threshold. Each cuvée reflects the personality of the vintage, the variety, and the place.

The estate welcomes you with simplicity at the Claira cellar, for a moment of sharing around the natural wines of Roussillon, reflections of a living terroir and a sincere commitment. Here, friendship — amistat in Catalan — is not just a name: it is the soul of the place, present in every bottle.
