La Madura
Seduced by the exceptional quality of the Domaine's terroirs, we chose to settle in Saint-Chinian in 1998 to become winemakers. For Cyril, whose grandfather was a winegrower in the region, this adventure was also a true return to his roots.
Our vineyard is nestled in the heart of the garrigue. It is what is locally called a “bien de village”: a mosaic of plots spread over very varied soils — schist, sandstone and clay-limestone — and located between 150 and 300 metres altitude. Part of the vineyard is in a Natura 2000 zone, within a preserved environment of great richness.
Our approach is resolutely quality-driven and respectful of nature:
- Certification in Organic Agriculture (AB) and vineyard management using agroecology
- Meticulous manual work and careful maintenance of each plot
- Manual harvesting to preserve the integrity and quality of the grapes
- Seeking the most authentic expression of the terroirs of the Saint-Chinian appellation
Always driven by innovation, we also offer Alternative 0 %, a de-alcoholised wine from our own organic production.
In our work, we seek above all to let the terroirs express themselves, deeply marked by the garrigue that surrounds them, in order to produce wines of character that sincerely reveal the whole identity of Saint-Chinian.

Roussillon wine country: an exceptional terroir
The Pyrénées-Orientales is one of France's most authentic wine regions. Roussillon offers a mosaic of unique terroirs: black schist from the Agly valley, granite from Les Aspres, limestone from Fenouillèdes and rolled pebbles from the plain. This geological diversity, combined with a Mediterranean climate tempered by the Tramontane wind, gives birth to wines of remarkable character.
Catalan winemakers cultivate iconic grape varieties — black, gray and white Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Macabeu, Muscat à petits grains, Lledoner Pelut — often in organic or biodynamic farming. A winery visit in Roussillon is an opportunity to discover dry, fortified or natural wines in a preserved setting, at the heart of a millennia-old wine heritage.
