Discover Vingrau and the wild landscapes of Roussillon during an easy hike to the Gorges du Gouleyrous, just 30 minutes from Perpignan. Starting from Domaine Torredemer-Mangin, this 7.5 km route takes you through the vineyards, the garrigue, and the emblematic limestone landscapes of Vingrau.
Accompanied by your guide, you will set off to discover nature, biodiversity, and local heritage. The route takes you in particular near the Caune de l'Arago, a famous prehistoric site in Tautavel, where archaeological research has provided a better understanding of the first human occupations of the region.
After about 1 hour of walking, the hike continues towards the Gorges du Gouleyrous, carved out by the Verdouble at the foot of the limestone cliffs. This spectacular natural site offers a wonderful interlude in the heart of the Roussillon landscapes, with the opportunity to enjoy some free time by the water and, depending on conditions, to swim in the gorges.
Back at the estate, the experience concludes with a tasting of the wines of Domaine Torredemer-Mangin. After exploring the landscapes and vineyards of the area, you will be able to discover the estate's cuvées and chat with the winemaker about his work and terroir.
