Natural Wine Tasting in Latour-de-France at Domaine des Mathouans: Living Terroir, Living Wines
Experience a unique wine tourism journey in Latour-de-France with Aline, the passionate winemaker of Domaine des Mathouans. Since 2009, she has cultivated her vines according to organic and biodynamic principles (certified Demeter), producing Natural wines of great purity.
The estate stretches across a magnificent schist terroir. During this guided visit, Aline will show you her old vines rooted in the Catalan scrubland. In the cellar, you will explore the world of natural wine, surrounded by wooden vats, amphorae, and barrels used to respect the grape's identity.

FAQ
The experience lasts about 2 hours and takes place in two parts. It begins with a guided tour of the vineyard, where you will discover the old vines and the schist terroir. Then you will be welcomed into the cellar for an immersion in natural winemaking methods. The visit concludes with a guided tasting of at least 5 natural wines, led by winemaker Aline.
You will taste a selection of natural wines from organic and biodynamic farming (certified Demeter). These wines, vinified without oenological additives in wooden vats, amphorae or barrels, are recognized for their purity, finesse and authentic expression of the terroir of Latour-de-France.
The visit is available on reservation, for groups ranging from 1 to 1 person. It is recommended to book at least one day in advance. Cancellation is possible up to 1 day before the visit, with a 5% fee. Purchase of the tasted bottles is possible on site at the end of the visit.
