Domaine de Sabbat

Domaine de Sabbat, located in Latour-de-France at the foot of the Catalan Corbières, is a family estate committed to a viticulture that respects living things. Its vines, spread between Maury, Tautavel and Vingrau, thrive on varied soils of schist, marl and clay-limestone, offering a great diversity of expressions. The estate practices agriculture without chemical inputs, favouring agroecological methods and constant attention to natural balances. Vinifications are carried out with respect for the grape and the terroir, in order to preserve the authenticity of the plots. Domaine de Sabbat thus produces sincere natural wines, marked by the minerality and freshness characteristic of their origins.

Cellar tour and natural wine tasting at Domaine de Sabbat

J'ai trouvé via le site Viny'aqui une idée cadeau à offrir, j'ai choisi le territoire de Tautavel et j'ai été inspirée par le domaine de SABBAT à LATOUR de France, je n'ai pas regretté mon choix bien au contraire. Sylvain le vigneron a été très généreux sur le temps qu'il nous a consacrés et surtout sur la transmission de son savoir-faire de vigneron via une dégustation très enrichissante au cœur de sa cave, ses vins ne ressemblent à aucuns autres, on mesure vite la liberté du vigneron sur la recherche de vins qui lui ressemblent. Je vous conseille vivement d'aller découvrir ce domaine, super moment convivial ! Merci à Sylvain du domaine et merci à Julien de Viny'aqui pour la qualité de son site qui a organisé cette visite.

Roussillon wine country: an exceptional terroir

The Pyrénées-Orientales is one of France's most authentic wine regions. Roussillon offers a mosaic of unique terroirs: black schist from the Agly valley, granite from Les Aspres, limestone from Fenouillèdes and rolled pebbles from the plain.
